These are a few of our favorite things.
The Golden Rule and then some.
We hope we give you a reason to smile today. As parents we teach our kids to "do unto others" and we work hard to carry that into our business too. We want our words to be meaningful, our actions to be sincere and for our products to bring a little more joy to your day.
We believe simple, homemade gifts are the most loved and that kindness spreads quickly. We'd encourage you to do something nice today (and everyday!), say "please" and "thank you", open doors for others, write a handwritten note to a friend or make a meal for someone. Go out of your way to be kind, it'll make you feel good. Or, if you're pressed for time, buy them something they'll treasure. And , if that's the case, we've made it easy for you, we'll even ship it!
Wholesome ingredients and quality goods.
We've chosen to use three quality tee shirt companies to print our images on (for now). Our kids shirts are printed on American Apparel tees, our tanks are printed on Bella + Canvas and our adult shirts are printed on Next Level tees. From what we've heard, these companies are ethical and responsible, please tell us if you find a company you like better.
Our inks are water-based and better for the environment and all of our screen printing supplies are "green" and non-toxic.
We take pride in our decision to live simply, to care for the environment and to make good choices. Send us an email if you think of ways we can improve. We don't claim to know everything, but we strive for good and wholesome things as often as possible.
Handmade in our home.
Everything you find on our site was either made or finalized in our home. We don't use looms to weave the cotton for our tees (although I wish we did), but we do use our hands to create our designs and screen print our shirts.
Whether it's a print on paper or a tee shirt (or something else we decide to add to the site), we want you to know, everything you see here is a labor of love.
And, at the end of the day, when all the bellies are fed and the little ones are asleep, we are spending time together sharing stories about our day making these things together that illustrate a few of our favorite things.
